Hank Smith The Music Man A well written and beautifully composed song! The music takes you on a journey to wherever you need to be on a rollercoaster of changing emotions that finally subside on a far away shore missing home... So wise beyond her years.

about

There is so much judgment and negativity in this world and often things are overlooked. “Rose Coloured Glasses” reminds us to stop and get to know everything around us and to see the beauty in all, especially the things that are not always seen as beautiful. I wrote this tune while sitting amongst a field of dandelions, and while dandelions are commonly thought of as pesky weeds, I see them as wondrous flowers.

Rose Coloured Glasses
Lyrics & Music by Madison Galloway

Yellow body reflects the sun
Glowing in your green world
You're a halcyon an abditory for all we cannot see
A weed to most, but a flower to some, like me

Sun slips away
Sending shivers down your roots and below
You don't turn your head down
Just wait patiently for its return
Oh, so patiently

Walking 'round viewing the world through rose coloured glasses
They say "what a shame"
But what's the shame in seeing the beauty in all there is to see
In this place we call home

I wanna go home

Your, your petals drop
But you, you don't die
Your soul still resides just taking on another life

Walking 'round viewing the world through rose coloured glasses
They say "what a shame"
But what's the shame in seeing the beauty in all there is to see
In this place we call home

Walking 'round viewing the world through rose coloured glasses
They say "what a shame"
But what's the shame in seeing the beauty in all there is to see
In this place we call home

Wanna go home
I wanna go home
Wanna go home
This is our home
